Venus Flytrap
The Venus Flytrap is a 3D printed attachment designed to screw onto a used plastic Coke bottle. It works with various bottle sizes, including 500ml, 1 litre, 1.5 litre, or 2 litre bottles. For maximum effectiveness, a 2-litre Coke bottle will catch the most flies.
To use the flytrap:
- Fill the bottle one-quarter full with water.
- Add one or two eggs.
- Shake the bottle with the lid on to mix the contents.
- Remove the lid and replace it with the Venus Flytrap attachment.
- Hang the bottle on a tree or in an area where flies are a problem.
It will take approximately one week for the mixture to start attracting and catching flies.
If you are a farmer, hang the flytrap near your livestock camps, pens, chicken coops, or stables to control flies at their source.
Note: The Venus Flytrap does not come with a Coke bottle. Save your used Coke bottles to use with this product.
