Thousands of South African farmers and their families have been victim to grusome farm attacks. Innocent people who are hard at work to ensure that South Africa has food on the table, are being tortured, raped and murdered. Government does not show much interest in actively doing something about it. The issue is a political sensitive issue. Little is done to prevent or stop it. Action is generally reactive and a cleanup of a grusome scene.
This leaves farmers and their families who are statistically at war to fend for themselves.

I am busy developing the Camelion Camera system. The camera is tailer designed to do short distance, long distance and night time patrols on farms. I am designing the camera to give farmers pre-warning of approaching people and vehicles so that farmers can pro-actively react and take the neccesary precaution to safe guard themselves. The camera will have mutliple functions and will also be usefull in stock theft prevention, field fire detection and general farming supervision.
Vigilance...vigilance...vigilance is what this project is all about.
My target is to make the cameras itself available to farmers below R10 000. Equivalent cameras on the market, which don't have all the required features can cost up to ten times as much, which is way above the reach of an average farmer. Farmers have the right to basic safety.
I have spend six months development on this project on my own account but I still need a considerble amount (R2 million +) to finish the development and setup the production environment. I need support. I want to sell my my time and engineering expertise, to continue and finalize the development, and use the money to setup the production environment.
